“Will you help me if I get stuck?”
This past Thursday, January 13th my 5 year old Josiah came to my wife Stephanie and said, “Mom, I want to ask Jesus into my heart. ” To which my wife was beyond excited and responded with, “Josiah, that is great.” Josiah went on to say, “Mom, will you help me if I get stuck?”
Now there my friends is a great question for all of us. Who in our lives do we have close enough to us that we can say, “Will you help me if I get stuck?”
Even though Josiah was asking for a different kind of help in praying I would submit that if you are true in your spirit you too are saying down deep that same thing.
“So whenever we are in need, we should come bravely before the throne of our merciful God. There we will be treated with undeserved kindness, and we will find help.”
What does this scripture say to you about finding help?
As you become a better version of you… let me encourage you to boldly ask for God’s help in your life. In addition, invite someone into your life with whom you can go to as a spiritual partner to “help you when you get stuck”, because you will get stuck. It is a part of life.
If we can help, please ask!
